Well the biggest problem with dealing with digital delivery is that the payment is made separately from the order. Since you have to have a login of some sort in order to securely deliver a download, this became almost impossible to keep track of. It was entirely possible for someone to add a product to their paypal cart without loggin into the site and associating their username with their order. So the entire process became disconnected. Let's also remember that PayPal is not a bank, transactions are not insured, and their fraud policies... well... they leave much to be desired :). So all in all it's a happy move... was hard to get through, because it came with a whole slew of additional upgrades to the store, along with the release of Cartweaver 2, but I'm finally getting a chance to breathe :).
