MP3 Manager?
I just ripped about 60 CDs in the last few days in preparation for my trip (gotta have tunes... never know what mood my strike) and I'm now having problems organizing it all. Sure, I have folders by Artist/Album, but explorer doesn't use all the wonderful information stored in the IDV3 tags.
I've done some digging for MP3 Managers online, and everything I find just seems cheesy... If you've got some software you like for managing your collection (I've got a couple hundred albums) I'd appreciate any pointers :)

Hey, that's your job to write that .NET stuff... trying to shove work off on me... Oy...joel wrote on 03/12/03 12:55 PM
Hey ... after playing for a few minutes with the afore mentioned id3 library, I came up with a quick little app. Not really gonna do what you wanted as it's just a quick test hack, but it was fun. Depending on what you're looking for, it might not be that hard to program ... for example, with a bit o' work, this demo could easily order them by artist.

Just write your own ;-) The source code there has a pretty nifty library called id3lib to easily read out information from an mp3 file. Couple with the super easy to use IO classes in .NET, you could easily make one yourself ;-) ps. Yes I'm trying to spread the gospel ... and my setup is win2k pro and IE6 so you can fix that remember feature I busted
