Got the categories working
You can now filter posts by Category on the blog. You can have any number of categories, a post can be assigned to multiple categories, and you can completely disable a category (this doesn't disable the posts, but only keeps the category from showing up in the nav).
All in all it works pretty slick, working in combination with the week/day/month filter, so you could show all Blogdev posts for the month of September or the second week of August. It required doing some custom work on the keepURL functions that MM uses to keep Querystring parameters, but it's worked out pretty good if I do say so myself.

All still looking good, we're waiting for a release... how far from a beta Dan? Whilst I understand your screening of all comments Im assume any commerical version would have this as an option only.... some of us don't spend enough time on-line to keep up to date with our commenters... Keep up the good work!Daniel Short wrote on 10/05/02 12:42 PM
Not sure on a beta release time, but I'll keep you aprised. Automatic approval of comments would certainly be an option. As it is now, I get an email with a link to Edit, Hold, Publish or Delete right in the email, and I just click the link to perform the appropriate action. Pretty easy peasy :)

Neat, though that box with the categories needs a title ("filter posts by topic?") or something so you know what it does. also, the skin changes when you click on topics...
