VBScript Dates

Just found a wonderful reference for working with dates in VBScript.

Manipulate arrays

Probably what I like least about VBScript is it's lack of built in functions for manipulating arrays. This means you've gotta write your own. In working on my new top secret project, I needed a way to remove an item from a 2 dimensional array without affecting the rest of the items in the array. And to that end, after 2 hours of searching on Google, I decided to write my own dang functions. You can find them in the test area of Web-Shorts.

You will be assimilated

Just starting on a new project with some other DW group developers. Wish I could say what it was, but rest assured, you *will* like it (or else).

The office continues...

Spent time this weekend rearranging the office at home. Once I got the desk into the middle of the room Kris started giving me sideways glances. What? I asked. "Are you really going to leave those wires that way?". Well dangit, she was right. I've got so many USB devices and speaker wires for the computer that it was a total rat's nest. So I made a trip to Lowe's Sunday morning (open at 8 on Sunday... ya gotta love those guys) and got me a new toy. After much saw dust up my nose (allergies went nuts) I got 5 holes drilled into the guts of my desk. With a well placed piece of colored glass, you can't see *any* wires on the desk now :). I'm going to try and get a picture up today, but I'm just happy to get this part done. We have the paint ready to go, I just have to start taping off the design and the trim in the room. More photos to come :).
