Free Image Gallery

The nCubed Free Image Gallery has finally been released through the DWfaq Store

If I do say so myself, it's turned out pretty snazzy. Angela has busted her arse on the extension, and really put together a nice piece of work. Those of you who don't develop extensions will probably never understand the behind the scenes work that makes for such a simple UI and elegant user experience.

Anyway, enough rambling, time to finish packing. Have fun playing with the Image Gallery, but don't break anything until I get back from TODCON :).

MP3 Manager?

I just ripped about 60 CDs in the last few days in preparation for my trip (gotta have tunes... never know what mood my strike) and I'm now having problems organizing it all. Sure, I have folders by Artist/Album, but explorer doesn't use all the wonderful information stored in the IDV3 tags.

I've done some digging for MP3 Managers online, and everything I find just seems cheesy... If you've got some software you like for managing your collection (I've got a couple hundred albums) I'd appreciate any pointers :)

The Important Stuff

I'm getting ready to head out for TODCON tomorrow, so of course I have to bring some movies. I'm hoping there's someone there local to Toronto that can bring some heavy duty speakers for a movie screening. My little laptop certainly won't do the trick :). Here's what I have in the CD carrier right now...

  1. Evil Dead II
  2. Spider-Man
  3. The Terminator (nothing like the original)
  4. Dead Alive (classic cheesy horror from the man who made LOTR, Peter Jackson)
  5. Tomorrow Never Dies
  6. Labyrinth
  7. Matrix (duh)
  8. Princess Bride (Who CAN'T love ROUSs?)
  9. X-Men
  10. Spaceballs
  11. Star Wars Phantom Menace
  12. Star Wars Attack of the Clones
